Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2

This is a 10-inch slate running Windows 8 and an Intel Atom processor. And yes, it will replace the current ThinkPad Tablet, which runs Android. Other key specs include a 1,366 x 768 IPS display, a 10-hour battery, optional 3G / 4G, micro-HDMI output and a pair of 2MP / 8MP cameras.

Washable Keyboard

Designed to look and function like new - even over time. From a light dusting to a soak*, this washable keyboard with drainage holes is easy to clean and easy to dry.
Key characters are laser printed and UV coated to ensure the letters don’t fade in the wash.
Comfortable typing is a given thanks to a familiar layout with F-keys and number pad, and it all comes in a unique, contemporary design.

SpacePilot Pro 3D Mouse

There are two things you notice immediately about the SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse.
The first is its very unorthodox looks. A small LCD screen and a large dial are surrounded by a number of different buttons.
The second thing you'll notice is how heavy the device is. This is not a device for holding in your hands as its very unwieldy and uncomfortable to hold.
The instructions suggest you place the SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse to the left of your mouse and keyboard - the assumption being that it will join them to form an essential trio for controlling your computer.
At first controlling a computer using the SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse feels more like a struggle than a natural evolution of control.
Frustrated, we found ourselves regularly returning to the comforting familiarity of the keyboard and mouse, leaving the SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse sitting redundantly on our desk.
However, as with most new control schemes, after a while using the SpacePilot Pro 3D mouse, things start to fall into place.
The large dial in the centre can help with zooming in and rotating 3D objects, and once you've got to grips with the controls it can help with 3D modelling.
Programs such as Google Earth also benefit from the new controls, but you can't help but return to the mouse and keyboard every now and again to help you get your bearings.

Samsung Salaxy S III

Samsung's tried to bring its Galaxy S series in line with some new quad-core Exynos processing juice, a 4.8-inch, HD Super AMOLED screen and a handful of Galaxy S III-only features in an earnest bid to maintain its place at the top of the Android pile.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 seems extremely capable of creating that world: it has an extremely fast quad-core processor, the ability to run multiple apps side-by-side on the 10.1-inch display, and, of course, Samsung’s Wacom-powered S Pen stylus, which has been upgraded from the smartphone Note to offer 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity. Other Android devices have tried and failed to meaningfully incorporate stylus support, but only Samsung’s 5-inch Galaxy Note smartphone has ever been a success, and I had high hopes the Note 10.1 would simply be a larger version of that experience.
