Sony Xperia Ion launched in India for Rs. 36,999 Sony Mobiles new Flagship phone; for the time being was launched today in India. The Xperia Ion outmatches in every aspect from the Xperia S.
Xperia Ion features a 4.55 inches LED-backlit LCD Capacitive Display which gives a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Xperia Ion will come with Android 4.0 ICS out of the box which will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor(1.5 Ghz) combined with 1GB of Ram. It has 16Gb as it's Internal Memory and is expandable upto 32GB via MicroSD card.The snapper in the Ion is 12.1MP coupled with the rear one being 1.3MP. As with the Flagship Smartphones, the connectivity features start from Wi-Fi upto DLNA. The battery life is quoted as for the Talk time being upto 10 hours, Standby time upto 400 hours.
